Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual Warfare

What is Spiritual Warfare?

Jesus said:

Matthew 7:15

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Something In the Water

Carrie Underwood

Lyrics

http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/carrieunderwood/somethinginthewater.html

There has been a big “to-do” made about this song.  It was sent to me with an article describing atheists attacking Underwood over the lyrics.  As I read the article accompanying this song, I wondered how much of the article was yet another publicity ploy.

The song itself is no different than any other hymn you would hear in church other than Carrie Underwood is singing it.  There are and have been many other country and western vocalists who have sung about God, or getting baptized, or having their lives changed, so why this song?  Why Carrie Underwood?  She sang “Jesus Take the Wheel” and it did not receive the response this song did.  She won a Grammy for that song.  Where were the atheists then?

It has been my experience that most true “atheists” are not “God-haters”.  The people I have known that admitted they were atheists loved Christmas songs, didn’t mind others praying and were not at all interested in trying to stop people “mentioning God” to bring publicity to themselves.  A few of them even believe there historically was a “Jesus”, but don’t believe he was the son of God.  They saw him as more of a “Gandi” type figure.

While Miss Underwood is most likely completely sincere in her intentions behind the song, we know the press and those who own them have other plans.  Their “good-cop/bad-cop” ploys continue to play out in politics and society.  The “most definitely evil vs. our good guys” drama will continue and escalate because we are getting close.

More and more horrific scenes are assaulting our daily news; such as beheadings (here in this country now), murders, mass shootings to the “breakdown” of relations between the “U.S. and Israel” etc . . . all leading to the further demonization of Obama and other public officials in other countries.  Obama is not “the beast”, but he certainly is being set up to look like “the beast”.  And his record is so bad, and his lies so prominent, most will have no trouble believing he is the beast.

The Good-Cop/Bad-Cop is being played out not just here, but globally.  We discussed it back in April of 2013 and more recently in July and on “Doctrines of Devils” back on October 8 of this year.

Cults – Subversion and Division

Since there are certain individuals watching this blog and requesting people report “on the status” of this blog, I’m going to make it easy for them:  Rosie and Randi – I spend as much time researching the Bible as you do recruiting for the Mormon church.   If it is good enough for you, it should be good enough for me.  And like you Rosie, I do not work outside the home.  So we really do not have all that much uncommon.  However, of the differences we do have between you and I, everything I have had to say to you, I’ve done out in the open, not behind your back to your family members.  I am also very firm in that The Bible is the Word of God, the ONLY one sanctified BY God, and the only one needed to get to know God.

Randi – you do not have to ask my husband to update you on the status of the website.  You are more than welcome to come read it for yourself.  Please do.  I test everything with scripture so there should be no reason for you to be offended unless truth offends you.

For all else reading this as well as the ladies mentioned above, let me share with you that I am by far not the only one calling the Mormon church “a cult”.  Their tactics are textbook.

Since three of those “individuals” and their “concern” of this blog are either currently or have previously worked for Federal agencies involved in the oppression and “genocide” taking place abroad in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Turkey, they should be more than familiar with the true purpose of their organization and are therefore not likely to be plausibly ignorant of its intentions.

Below is a “short-list” of other “websites” NOT written by me, which expose the Mormon church and their true, anti-Biblical teachings:

Ex-Mormon.org” – Those previously members or Priesthood holders.  The first post is an important one.  There is the pointing out of the same “casual dismissal” over evidence presented to those in spiritual bondage as well, and the post also specifically mentions “the Book of Abraham”, which the brainwashed refuses to even look at, even though it is on the LDS website.

So4j.com” – Excellent with references from LDS’s own documents and scripture (true scripture).

FamiliesAgainstCultTeachings” – Sharon’s story, she committed suicide.  They cover the same blueprint patterns for religious cult behavior including that of the Latter-Day Saints.

Carm.org” – Comparison Biblical Christianity with Mormonism.

Religion-facts.org” – Another Comparison site Mormon with Christianity

ChristianPost.com” – Covers some of the more general differences, steering away from the more controversial differences”.

Saints Alive” – Ed Decker, former Melchizedek Priestholder. We’ve quoted from this site before.  I will share with you later an excellent prayer outline to protect yourself which venerates the one I’ve posted before. Decker has exposed the relationship between Mormonism and Freemasonry as a high level priest holder.  Check out the tabs at the top of the website.

One of those individuals I have had personal contact with expressed that he knew “where she is getting her information” . . . He was referring to Decker, but that is not where I got my information.  I got the information and comparisons on the LDS.org web site, their “Doctrines and Covenants”, “adjustments” (to scripture), the link to the “Book of Abraham” better known as “The Pearl of Great Price” against scripture in the Holy Bible.  I found Decker after the fact.

Considering Decker’s more dramatic testimonies on his “experience” in the Mormon church, it is rather interesting to note that Decker comes from an “Episcopalian” background who’s father was a “Dutch Calvinist” and his mother is “Jewish”.  Other religions have criticized his work.  Although I have also found mis-statements regarding which “resources” came directly from the LDS.org web site, I happen to agree with his statements on their cult tactics, and their “vision” for turning the U.S. into a Theocracy.

I am also in full agreement on “how to pray” when in spiritual warfare.  I do not agree that his writings “grossly misinterpret” Mormonism, but I do agree with some of the critics that most Mormons have no idea the dark underbelly of their organization and how the Bible testifies of their contribution to the “government of the beast” in the end times.

The interesting common theme Mormonism has with Jewish “Zionism” even more firmly anchors their core doctrine in Freemasonry, not Christianity.

The God of Forces

A God his Father’s Did Not Know

In Daniel, chapter 11 there is, after the raiser of taxes who is destroyed without anger or battle (the “Illuminati”, the “bad cop”) a vile one who comes up with a small people (their  “good cop”).  This is the last “kingdom” which is not given to the vile one, but he takes it by flatteries (intrigue in some translations).

This vile one does not honor the gods his fathers have honored, but one that is not known.

Daniel 11:36-39

"And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

37. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.   38. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain."

This is what is in the LDS doctrine, right on their website pages.  We covered that on “Denizen Kainz”, “Defining The Host”, “Strange Children” and “Doctrines of Devils”.

If you scroll down to the heading on the LDS student manual “Abraham 2:6 – An Everlasting Possession”, you will find the “doctrine” of “dividing the land for gain”.   Remember this is coming from supposed “papyri” that Joseph Smith bought from an archeologist, translated from “Egyptian” using “magic stones”.  There is no book of Abraham in the Bible.  They have creatively expounded on Scriptures already written and added to them, twisting them as the books of 2 Peter 2 and Jude 1 foretold would occur.

Jeremiah 16:13 prophecies that “Israel” will be scattered.  They will be “cast out of this land” into a land they know not, and “will serve other gods”.  Ezekiel 13:9 states that the priests and prophets that divine lies will not enter the land of Israel, and Ezekiel 20:9-38 prophecies that God will bring them out from among the heathen in who’s sight He made Himself known to them, bring them out of the land of Egypt; and purge from among them the rebels, out of the country where they sojourn.  On “Unraveling The Garment”,  Nineveh” and “Jericho” we learned that the “land” and “country” also symbolize vessels as “waters” are “people’s, nations and tongues” in Revelation 17:15.

Doctrine of Temples Built With Hands

On the LDS.org website page titled “General Conference, 04/1977” McConkie gave a speech proclamation of their “duties” to build “Zion” so that “Christ” could return.  There is nothing in the Gospel of the Holy Bible stating that men “build Zion”.  The only “government” or “establishment” build PRIOR to the return of “the son of man” is the establishment of the “beast”.  Revelation 17:18 describes the “great city” before the return of the Son of Man, Revelation 13 and Daniel 11:21-45 all describe portions of the last earthly government before the Son of Man returns.

As we studied Biblically before (“Fallen Angels Deception”), the one thousand year reign of Christ has already taken place.  There is no Biblical verse in the Bible that states he reins on this earth for the 1,000 years, and Revelation 2:26-29 attests to this, that Christ will give “the morning star” to another who will rule with a rod of iron “as my Father gave me”.

The teaching that building “Jerusalem” or “Zion” to “bring the messiah” comes straight out of Judaism; but lets just stick to Mormonism for right now.

McConkie stated in 1977 that the “gathering of Israel” and the “establishment of Zion” comes in three phases – Source, LDS.org.  He lists the three phases, phase I  taking approximately 125 years from the time Joseph Smith set up the temple in Nauvoo, Illinois.  Phase II is of unknown duration (Between the temple and when the second coming occurs); and Phase III begins when the “Lord’s coming until the kingdom is perfected”.

Until the kingdom is perfected?  According to The Lord in Zechariah, this happens “in one day”:

Zechariah 3:9

"For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day."

The Lord of hosts will “remove the iniquity of that land in one day”.  Note the reference made to the stone laid before Joshua.  Joshua was the one who with the children of Israel, “passed over” the Jordan (“Jericho”) as its waters were backed up.  He also instructed the head of each of the twelve tribes to remove a stone out of the river.  The stones of Israel, and the ones Joshua himself was instructed to place “in the midst of Jordan” as a memorial.

Now some could argue that the “one day” which the Lord says he will remove the iniquity in the land of Israel could mean the “thousand years is as a day” in 2 Peter 3:8, but in 1 Corinthians 15:52, we are told the “restoration” takes place “in a moment”.

1 Corinthians 15:52

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

There is also this from McConkie on that same page:

"Some considerable success has attended our labors; we have built the Lord’s holy house in the tops of the mountains; and all nations have begun to flow unto it. Swift messengers have gone to nation after nation seeking the lost sheep of Israel and inviting them to come “to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob,” so they might be taught in his ways, and walk in his paths, preparatory to the great day when “out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”" - Source, LDS.org/General-conference/1977/04

Let’s refute this in the “Lord’s Words”:

The temple:

Acts 7:48

Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,"

Acts 17:24

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;"

There is also this stern warning in Haggai when the Lord asks Haggai to test the Jews:

Haggai 2:11-15

"Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,   12. If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.   13. Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

14. Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the Lord; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.   15. And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the Lord:"

Jesus also, in the Book of John, made the distinction about the temple:

John 2:20-22

"Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?   21. But he spake of the temple of his body.

22. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said."

So Jesus’ disciples believed it, but those claiming to be in “the priesthood” do not?

Who gathers the lost sheep?  The Lord/Son of Man in his glory with his angels.  Not men ordained by men out of Missouri and Utah.

Matthew 25:31-33

"When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:   32. And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:"

Isaiah 11:11-13

"And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.   12. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth."

Matthew 24:31

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

The Son of Man shall also send his angels to gather those who do iniquity (Matthew 13:41), which is the "reaping" that occurs in Revelation 14:18.  1 Thessalonians venerates the scripture above:

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

This is grade school eschatology for those of you who have been reading for at least two years.  We covered the “event” and Biblically verified that there is only ONE previous resurrection of the “saints” – that which occurred after Jesus arose from the dead in Matthew 27:52.

The event of the feeding of the 5,000 after Jesus' Sermon on the mount in John chapter six testifies of the "consumption" of the iniquity, and the "fragments" (remnant) that remain, that "nothing be lost".   There is only one reason this “nothing be lost” is promoted.  The "fragments" fill 12 baskets - one of each tribe if Israel.

John 6:12

"When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.   13. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten."

Do you understand from this how “Abraham” is increased and what “the fulness of the gentiles” means?

This also parallels the “sifting of Israel” as corn (Amos 9:9), and not a grain will fall to the earth; and 1 Corinthians further tells you that the “gathering” will not be masses of flesh and blood migrating across continents – The miracle of what God has done, and how “iniquity” will be purged has to do with the seed, the substance from which we are written into the book of life of the lamb of God – The first born of the dead (Colossians 1:18).

Amos 9:8-10

"Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the Lord.   9. For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth."

1 Corinthians 15:36-38

"Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:   37. And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:   38. But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body."

Those who conspired against Christ, those who were spoken of in Jude 1 know these things at least in part.  The motive to “break” the Prince of the Covenant in Daniel 9 and 11 and “pollute the sanctuary of strength” tells us what they are after; the seed of the “son of man”.   How else can they “overspread” the “abomination” if they can’t place it “in the house called by my name”?  He IS called “the Messiah the Prince” in Daniel 9:25-27.

This brings us back to the “teachings” of the Mormon church.  Their claims that people “misrepresent” what they are about are unfounded.

They “baptize” and lay on hands praying for the “Holy Ghost”.  Why are they not allowed to talk about what is said during a Baptism?  Because it is another spirit, not of God and you will see this.

Those that teach anything other than Jesus Christ being the way to salvation is not teaching Christ.  They tell you they do teach this, but they do not.  The Bible says:

The Grace of God, through faith, saves you:

Acts 2:21

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Acts 4:12

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Romans 5:9

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."

Romans 10:9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Romans 10:13

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Faith in Christ Saves You

Mark 16:16

"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

Luke 7:50

"And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace."

Luke 18:42

And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee."

And if no other Bible verse will do this one explains it succinctly and without doubt:

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Everlasting life.  Can this possibly be misinterpreted?

Mormonism teaches that works . . . WORKS gives you everlasting life.  It is right on their website:

From their “Doctrines and Covenants” (numbered in the text) on their website:

The greater priesthood holds the key of the knowledge of God; 26–32, The lesser priesthood holds the key of the ministering of angels and of the preparatory gospel; 33–44, Men gain eternal life through the oath and covenant of the priesthood;" - Source, LDS.org/DC-Testament

If they try to convince you that this is “misinterpreted” it is right there in black and white on their website.  Detail on this “oath” (they don’t publish what is actually said during the ceremony. That in part can be found here), is on this page of their web site.  Who calls prophets and priests?  Not men.  According to this page, men can bestow the Holy Ghost on a person.

If they are falsely teaching that “oaths”, not belief in Christ insures everlasting life, what “power” are they bestowing upon people?  Even demons believe in the practice of the “laying on of hands”.  (See “Be Careful In Who You Permit To Lay Hands On You”).

We are NOT saved through “oaths” or “works”!

Ephesians 2:8-9

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

We are also told to steer clear of oaths in scripture:

Straight from the “Sermon on the Mount”:

Matthew 5:33-37

"Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

34. But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:   35. Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.   36. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

37. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil."

Those of you who have been reading for a couple of years may remember the attacks by packs of “Michael Jackson fans”, one group which frequently posted pictures of themselves – always “touching”, as if completing a circuit of electricity:

Just a couple of them

The “This Is NOT It” “stalker” fans

People of course don’t believe these kinds of “powers” are “real” in the world, which is why demonically-based religions are so successful in convincing their victims that their loved ones are “going nuts”.

If you believe in the power of Christ, sincerely believe, then you also must know that dark powers also exist.   There was some helpful advice if you are fighting things “within” you on that same web page:

"But it is also vital to know that you can COMMAND these things to go in the name of Jesus Christ! I often talk about RENOUNCING” things from the very depths of your being. It is not just with your ‘mouth only’. You are rejecting and expelling these things with every part of you – spirit, soul and body – in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. And they WILL go! The same applies to other areas of darkness in people’s lives. If you suffer from depression or a bad temper or any other form of darkness that you can’t seem to get rid of – COMMAND it gone from the very depths of your being in Jesus’ name! I refer to these things as “strongholds” rather than ‘demons’. And I have seen people utterly delivered of things they thought were “ingrained” in them – just by deeply and forcefully COMMANDING them gone in the mighty name of Jesus. Try it! Don’t delay." - Source, PJMiller.wordpress.com

We are given the power in Christ’s name to bind or loose “strongholds” over us, as Jesus told Peter when Peter identified him through the Holy Spirit as “The son of God”.

Another good piece of advice:

"Beloved “try the spirits.” There are many spirits we do not want to have anything to do with. There is our own spirit; the flesh and the devil. There are many spirits contending, and many times we let our own spirit rule and make ourselves think it is God; the same, with the flesh and the devil.

“Sometimes we know it is not God, but we want to have our own way. If we have the Holy Ghost we can prove the spirits, because everything the Holy Ghost does is confirmed by the Word. We do not want to trust to tongues and interpretations. You must measure things by the word. We must measure tongues and demonstrations by the Word, and if they do not agree with the Word, we must not accept them; everything must be measured by the Word." - Source, PjMiller.wordpress.com

. . . EVERYTHING the Holy Ghost does is CONFIRMED by THE WORD.

. . . EVERYTHING must be measured by THE WORD.

Why they have taken a stronghold over my loved one?

"We do know God and the voice of God, but the devil can come as an angel of light. When you are in the Holy Ghost, that is the time the devil tries to get in and lead you astray. The Holy Ghost is revealing some secret things; at the same time the devil comes in, and if you are not careful, you will listen to what he has to say and follow him." – Source, PJMiller.wordpress.com

God knows why they are here.  God knows where their hearts and intentions are.  God has shown me that my struggle is with a purpose.

Like I said, there is nowhere in the Bible that says God’s trying and refining you is without personal pain.  You will be asked to give what you promised, you will be asked to sacrifice, you will be called upon to make choices that absolutely no one else will understand.

God is God.  As pathetically unqualified, unworthy and unprepared as I was, He called me.  I was still a teenager.  He showed me in a dream what being “sealed” means although it was decades before He would put me to work.

The Holy Ghost moved me to pray for someone I thought had died.  Without knowing what I was asking for, I asked God for that person’s burden.  I have not always recognized the elements in which God answered that prayer, and I have not always accepted the lesson graciously.  But when each test is over, I am thankful God cares to show me, in the way that I asked to receive it.

Abraham was asked to give his son.  I am being asked to sacrifice something and I know why.

*Addendum: There is some guidelines on what/how to pray in this entry “Prayer”.  If you are suffering, need healing, forgiveness, restore relationship with Christ after falling away, or need help if you are being spiritually attacked.  Please click that “Prayer” link.
