His Name is Jesus

" Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." - Philippians 2:9-11.

 

 

 

The name “Yahusha”, or “Yahushua” or “Yehoshuah” do not appear in any of the English translations of the Bible.  It originated in the Babylonian Talmud.

 

It doesn’t appear in the King James Bible either, nor does it appear in the Geneva Bible, or the Spanish Bible.

 

The only Bible this rendition of the name of Jesus has been promoted is in the later “Hebrew Bible” and in the Babylonian Talmud:

 

“Yeshua (Hebrew: יֵשׁוּעַ, romanized: Yēšūaʿ) was a common alternative form of the name Yehoshua (יְהוֹשֻׁעַ, Yəhōšūaʿ, 'Joshua') in later books of the Hebrew Bible and among Jews of the Second Temple period. Considering that the Jewish religion, since the time of Christ, has been “antichrist”; it seems rather odd that such emphasis would be put on the name of Jesus in their language.

 

Part of the reason this pulls my attention from time to time, is because Eliakim states without ambiguity, that he wants Rabshakeh to “speak to us I pray thee, in the Syrian language for we understand it. And speak not with us in the language of the Jews” in 2 Kings 18:26.

 

Maybe this is the main reason why.  It has everything to do with “the form of sound words” and “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word”.

 

Everything about the “war in heaven” and “Armageddon” is about, and over this NAME.

 

The other curious aspect of this insistence by some to promote this “Y” name is that . . . Jews of the Talmud just don’t like Jesus.  They don’t like Jesus and they don’t like Christians.  That is apparent in their “Babylonian Talmud”: where the “Y” name also appears in it’s abbreviated form:

 

“The Hebrew spelling Yēšūaʿ (ישוע) appears in some later books of the Hebrew Bible . . .  It differs from the usual Hebrew Bible spelling of Joshua (יְהוֹשֻׁעַ, Yəhōšūaʿ),” – Source, Wikipedia

 

It also supplies this interesting and traceable “Talmud” mention:

 

“It also differs from the Hebrew spelling Yeshu (ישו) which is found in Ben-Yehuda Dictionary and used in most secular contexts in Modern Hebrew to refer to Jesus, although the Hebrew spelling Yēšūaʿ (ישוע) is generally used in translations of the New Testament into Hebrew^[3]” – Source, Wikipedia.

 

The Babylonian Talmud is the most antichrist, and anti-Christian book ever compiled.  This abomination is warned about in the prophecies of Jeremiah, and in the Gospels as well as other books in the Bible.

 

There are pastors, reverends, preachers and ministers teaching “Jesus through the Jewish religion”: not something that Jesus or Paul EVER suggested or endorsed.

 

Now let’s take a look at an issue I ran into rather recently on the TikTok forum, concerning an alleged “Christian” and her “revelation” concerning the Christian religion and the name of Christ.

 

 

 

A Twist on the Constantine Story

 

I was scrolling TikTok when I came cross this video.  I’m not going to mention her name because she already took my comments off.  She is dressed in outdoor clothes, wearing a cowboy hat and is walking in and around stables as she is talking.  She’s close to my age (fifties to early sixties) and fit for her age.

 

This woman puts out a video on "TikTok" And she title's it "The man who knew Jesus best". 

 

Now I would have thought that it was in reference to one of the apostles like John, or Peter or even Paul.  However, to my surprise, she said this was "Constantine".

 

She said Constantine went on to twist the Gospels into a sun-worshipping religion and that he was the one who came up with the Sunday Worship (She’s not entirely wrong about that, that was a Roman Catholic thing done to Christianity, even the Pope takes credit for this).

 

According to other sources, Constantine was not the originator of Sunday worship but adopted what was already in practice – (source, archive.gci.org).

 

In the beginning of her video, she says: "Did you know that there was one earthly man who knew Jesus better than anyone?  Even his secrets for creation?  Nobody knew Jesus Christ better than the Roman emperor Constantine.”

 

This will make sense further down, when you realize that she is trying to convince you that Constantine created the “Jesus” character.  She continued:

 

"You see, Constantine despised our Messiah, and his followers, who he believed created division.  Out of his hate and his distaste for our Messiah he created the Council of Nicea.  They were assigned a task of creating a new religion."

 

She goes on to explain the mixing/meshing of all religions under Roman rule of law. She said that Constantine gave the elders 53 different gods to vote on that would head this religion.  After a year and a half and no decisions were made, Constantine decided himself.

 

She said Constantine involved the British "factions" and eventually chose the Druid god, Hesus of Lesous and "eastern savior god, Krishna".

 

She then said "the combined gods became Lesous Krishna" (Greek Iesous Christos) or "Jesus Christ".

 

Then she shows you scripture from the King James Version of the Bible and reads it, where Paul said:

 

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." - Galatians 1:6-9.

 

There is another in 2 Corinthians which addresses this more in depth:

 

"For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." - 2 Corinthians 11:4.

 

She quoted these out of the King James Bible.  Then she goes to some extra-biblical source on the history of Constantine and pulls up that Constantine changed the "true name" of our Savior to the Latin/Romanized "Iesous Christi" or "Jesus Christ" in the English translation of that.

 

You ever feel silver shoot from your gut into your brain and spread out in indignation and it just moves you to action?  That's what happened to me as I listened to her.

 

So first I posted "This is a lie.  She is trying to Judaize Jesus.  2 Kings 16:6 and Jeremiah 40:11-12 will tell you who infiltrated God's Israel. Yahu and variations is not his name."

 

Then I went back and listened to this again, because I wanted to see the document she was quoting for this information that Jesus' name is "Yahushua" instead of Jesus.  When I read down further in the comments, I learned that she took this new information from "Constantine's Creed".

 

Then it dawned on me that she quoted Paul in the King James Bible, and I remembered something.  I posted again:

 

"2 Kings 18:26 will tell you that the language of Israel and the language of the Jews is not the same.  The Jews changed it during the exile.  They don't want you saying Jesus Christ.  She's lying."

 

After this, she did respond to me.  And it was surprisingly diplomatic.  She posted:

 

"What is the truth for you?  What is his real name?"

 

I responded in several posts because there is a text limit per post:

 

"The very Bible where you quoted Paul concerning "any other gospel" has his name in it.  Jesus verifies the jot and tittle in Matt. 5:18.  When the "law is fulfilled" Jehovah becomes something else". -

 

I didn’t give her the verse, I wanted her to find it.  Then added Jesus’ words in regard to the “language”:

 

"The jot is Syriac for the Jewish "yod".  That is where the "Jah" sound came from. The tittle, among other things, changes vowels and consonants, like from the "veh" to the "beh" sound".

 

Then:

 

"So what does "Jehovah" become after the jot and tittle "pass from the law", when Jesus fulfills it?  Because it is mentioned three times in the KJ Bible: once by Jesus, and twice by Paul". -

 

Something else: what she was saying did not ring out as true because as is the case with most trying to twist things, they use the very same document they are trying to discredit to prove their point true.  So I asked her:

 

"What I can't understand is how someone could use the same Bible they quote Paul on bringing different doctrines, then use different doctrines to discount Jesus' name?" -

 

She had not responded to any of this, and my last post on the subject was this:

 

"I don't have the Hebrew letters on my phone, but they translate into "y-sh-u", which is the abbreviation for the classic Jewish curse.  It means "let his name be blotted out".

 

She has not yet responded.  But I went back and listened to her again. Now, this started me on something that took me deeper into what is going on here.  It was beginning to sound as if she were trying to construct a premise for the Jewish Messiah and that we were all lied to about his name, “Jesus”.

 

Further in the video, she also states that Constantine came up with the naming of this religion "Christian”.  Reading the "Creed", she paraphrases "basically guys, rewriting every Hebrew law our messiah wanted us to follow".

 

She wants us to believe that Constantine had all the scriptures rewritten.  And the Spirit in me bristled.  She said two minutes into this video:

 

"The term 'Christian' was around hundreds of years before our messiah was even born.  It represented those who followed the Greek Deity Serapis, also known as Isis.  Constantine revived that name as the newly worshipped sun-Pagan religion."

 

Wow. So now she is demonizing the whole Christian movement as well as Christ, to supplant it with the "Talmudic" version of his name.  The term “Christian” did not appear until Acts 11:26, when Paul tells his people that they are being called “Christians”.  This is also verified by outside biblical sources in history, like “Relevantmagazine” and “Britannica.com”.

 

All sources I read, including the passage in Acts 11 state the term “Christian” was given them by the locals in Antioch, and not something Paul or the “saints” came up with themselves.  The initial labeling wasn’t particularly flattering when it was first applied to them either.  So where did she get this erroneous idea about Isis?

 

Now watch this! Here were subsequent quotes from her toward the end of her video:

 

"One crazy fact is that most Christian churches today still adhere to Constantine's Creed."  Then says "I can't deny it.  The true name, Yahusha sets you free". 

 

She then reads from another Bible which had Paleo-Hebrew letters on the cover (Not the King James version which is where she copied Paul’s admonishment about “another Jesus”).  She went to the book of John (which in her Paleo-Hebrew -to-English book reads Johann) in chapter 8 verse 31 - reads:

 

"So OWTEZ (Paleo-Hebrew Letters) said to those Yahudim who believed him, if you stay in My Word, you are truly My Talmidim".  (Talmidim?  Talmud?)  "and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free".

 

I highlighted the changed words, so you can see what was done here.  And then she repeats "The truth shall make you free . . . Shalom".  The word “Jews” was taken out and exchanged with “Yahudim” which refers to only Judah or from the tribe of Judah.  The word “disciples” was replaced with “Talmidim”.

 

The King James English reads:

 

"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:31-32.

 

Talmidim: disciple/discipleship.  Talmud: “The Hebrew Word for the Bible” (???) in truth it is more closely related to “instruction” or “repetitive”: to repeat/tradition, learning”.  Talmud and Talmidim are related.  That “Talmud” is not for Christ at all, but antichrist, teaching the same “tradition” that makes “God’s Word of none effect” (Matthew 15:6, Mark 7:13).

 

This is the same “Talmud” that teaches that Jesus is boiling in excrement in hell, and that his mother was a whore?  That same Talmud that calls Christians “lower than beasts”?  Yet we have subverting pseudo-pastors calling themselves “Rabbi”, serving their congregations this garbage, or trying to convince other clergy to do so.

 

Is this their plan to “blot out his name”?  Is this the “re-upholstered” Christianity supplanting another Christ which will be their man-made Messiah?  Are we paying attention?

 

So who put her up to this?

 

These people are slimy. They are slimy, they are subtle and like the serpent they also have scales and fangs.  This will give you a good glimpse on how they intend to convince Christians to accept this perversion of the Gospel. 

 

She's not Christ believing and if she were truly Christian, she would not so easily been driven from "the simplicity of Christ": she is a Jewish woman posing as a Christ convert to the Jewish perversion of Christ's scriptures: Remember, they are getting ready to foist their man-made "Messiah" on us.  And we were warned about these subversions of scripture:

 

"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

 

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not." - 2 Peter 2:1-3.

 

 

"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

 

4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ." - Jude 1:3-4.

 

The “men of old, men of renown”, who were the descendants of the “offspring” of those “sons of God” who came down and took as wives “the daughters of men”.  These are the same who “left their habitation” and “left their first estate” in that same chapter of 2 Peter.  This is they who infiltrated Judah, first in 2 Kings 16:6 until King Rezin drove them out; then again in Jeremiah 40:11-12.

 

 

 

The Jews Who Were Set Free

 

We were warned throughout the scriptures, of these "subtle" fables and perversions of the religion that rules the Jews.  However, some of them saw or heard the truth, and it resonated with them, because although corrupted, the WORD was in them.  And in the New Testament, some of those Jews were our disciples and apostles.

 

"Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.  For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

 

Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.  One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, the Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.  This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;  Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth." - Titus 1:9-14.

 

The truth indeed WILL set you free. Throughout my own journey which has taken fifteen years now, I have also heard different names for "Jesus".  Considering Romans 10:13, where we are told, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved".

 

The Jews (scribes, Pharisees, hypocrites) were reproved in Romans 1:25, Romans 2:24 and Romans 9:6 concerning what they did to “The Word” (and the law) in the Gentiles.  So we know who they are talking about in Titus 1, and 2 Peter 2, Jude 1 and Genesis 6.  Also who Jesus reproved in John chapter 8 and Matthew 23.

 

That one verse: Romans 10:13, sent me on a quest for something God had already revealed to me in the Spirit.  It was through an event that caused me to make an "offering".  I didn't know it at the time that what I did represented "The Word" which is "The Name".  I had already called it out in my offering to God, fifteen years ago.

 

The truth in the scripture took me a couple of years after that, to find it "in the letter".  I had “brought forth” before I “travailed” (Isaiah 66:7-8)  I had searched out the "real" Hebrew language and poured through document upon document of Modern Hebrew, to early Hebrew, to "Paleo-Hebrew" and the "Greek" and the Syriac, which is how I found 2 Kings 18:26.

 

Here Eliakim; (important: Isaiah 22:20-25, Eliakim receives the robe and the key of the house of David, and is fastened as a "nail in a sure place"), reveals the real language of God's Israel against the language of the Jews.  This made me read through the rest of 2 Kings, where I found "Elath", which the Jews were driven from by Syria's King Rezin in chapter 16.  Then in chapter 14 I saw that "Judah" had "built Elath" and restored it to Judah, which explained to me that "Elath" was no ordinary city but represented something of value.

 

Judah was the "lawgiver" and as such, "Elath" had to have something to do with the "law".  It also has a lot to do with the “seal of God”:  The “Publishing” mentioned in Psalm 68:11 and in Haggai 2:5.

 

That “Name” is “The Word of God” in Revelation 19:13, and it was given to he who overcomes in the Revelation. 

 

So of course, the Jews do not want you to know any name but the one the made unto themselves (Genesis 11:3-4).

 

 

 

Is This  Subversion of the Name Jesus

a "Curse"?

 

I looked up the term "Yeshua" (Joshua, arguably in the modern Hebrew) or what the Talmud reveals as "Yashu" and "Yahushuah"

 

Under Usage on the History of Jewish curses + Yahu, I found this:

 

The term, although Hebrew, may be inserted as a set phrase in languages other than Hebrew, including Yiddish,[3] for example, "Dos iz a kol-boynik, yemakh-shmoy!" ("He is a scoundrel, yemakh-shmoy!")[4][5] and English.[6] When the phrase is used in English of plurals the Hebrew plural -am ("their names and their memories" yimach shemam ve-zichram) is applied.[7][8] The epithet may be abbreviated as "Y. S." in some English texts.[9] In Hebrew the abbreviation is (יש"ו) y-sh"u[10] The curse connects with examples of erasure of names in other cultures.[11] It has been called "the classic Jewish curse".[12]" - Source, Wikipedia

 

This tells us that yes, "y-sh-u" refers to the curse that means "let his name be blotted out".  The Jews deny that Jesus is even mentioned in the Talmud (reasons, he's not considered anything and therefore they have "blotted out" his name), but Kemper, a former Jewish scholar exposes this.

 

In the next paragraph down, it says on that wiki article concerning the curse:

 

"There are only a very small number of texts where yimakh shemo is used of Jesus,[42] although the tradition that Yeshu (יֵשׁוּ – (יֵשׁוּעַ minus the ayin) is related to the yimach shemo has a little popular circulation, maybe an inheritance from medieval polemical traditions.[43] An early introduction of this connection into Lutheran literature was made by convert Johan Kemper." - Source, Wikipedia/Jesus

 

Then I left this for a bit, and decided to dig into Mr. Kemper.

 

Johann Kemper said: "This is applied to Jesus:" 'It is easy to see that Jesus is spoken of,' Kemper says, 'and still today they mock him by rendering his name without 'ayin as Yeshu, ie, yimmah stud wezikro 'may his name and memory be wiped out.'" - Source - Rabbi Kemper; Eskhult, Mats (2004). Hettema, Theo L.; van der Kooij, Arie (eds.). Rabbi Kemper's Case for Christianity in His Matthew Commentary, with Reference to Exegesis (Hebrew Studies within Seventeenth Century Swedish Lutheranism).

 

Johann came onto this in his effort to write a "Christian Cabala".  In this effort, he discovered the relationship between the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.  This says this on the Wiki article:

 

"This belief also drove him to make a literal Hebrew translation of the Gospel of Matthew from Syriac (1703). He also wrote Me'irat 'Enayim (The Enlightenment of the Eyes), (1704) a Christian Cabala[8] commentary on Matthew, which emphasized the unity of the Old and New Testaments and used elements from the Sabbatean and non-Sabbatean Kabbalistic traditions to derive Christian beliefs and meanings from traditional Jewish beliefs and practices." - Source, Wikipedia

 

Remember this is during the late 1600's through early 1700's.  The fact that it states that Johann was driven to make "literal Hebrew translation of the Gospel of Matthew from Syriac" in 1703 also venerates that the early church taught in Syriac and not the language of the Jews.

 

From Syriac to Hebrew!  What did Eliakim tell Rabshakeh again concerning the language he wanted?

 

"Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna, and Joah, unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, to thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and talk not with us in the Jews' language in the ears of the people that are on the wall." - 2 Kings 16:6.

 

Kemper was, as it says below, one of the first Lutherans (a convert from Judaism no less) to connect the form of the man Joshua for Jesus in the Talmud with the 'ayin' dropped, with the ancient Jewish curse of blotting out names:

 

"In his commentary on polemical treatment of Christianity in rabbinical literature he was one of the first Lutherans to comment on the connection between the form of the name "Joshua" used for Jesus in the Talmud, Yeshu, instead of the normal Yeshua used for other figures, and connected the dropping of the final ayin with the ancient curse yimakh shemo.[9]" - Source - Wikipedia , and Source - Mats Eskhult Rabbi Kemper's Case for Christianity in His Matthew Commentary, with Reference to Exegesis (per Mats Eskhult (Uppsala University) Hebrew Studies within Seventeenth Century Swedish Lutheranism) in Religious polemics in context: papers presented to the Second International Conference of the Leiden Institute for the Study of Religions (LISOR) ed. This was one source.  I had seen other sources about this years ago, but this was coming from a former Rabbi (reminded me of the conversion of Paul from Pharisee to Christ preaching prophet in Acts 9).

 

I had to research from another end, to see if this was viable.  So I took the "Joshua" name "Yeshua" or "Yeshu", which was paired with the "Yehushua" that this woman from the video, and others posting online, claimed was the real name of Jesus.

 

We know that "Yeshua" is converted to "Joshua".  What did "Shuah" mean?

 

Yeshu = refers to the curse with the 'ayin' taken off of "Yeshua/Joshua",  She said "Yehusha" and "Yehushua":

 

Yahu + Shuah or Shoah (before joined to Yahu):

 

"According to the provided search results, “Shoah” (שואה) is a Hebrew word that means “devastation”, “desolation”, or “ruin” that affects man, nature, and land." - Source, thetorah.com, reformjudaism.org and Haaretz.com.

 

Wow.  Just WOW!

 

Yahu or Yashu: the curse "let his name be blotted out" + "Shuah or Shoah": desolation = "his name blotted out, for the overspreading of abomination (of desolation).  Destruction and desolation:

 

" “Shoah” translates to “catastrophe” or “destruction” in Hebrew, emphasizing the devastating nature of the event." - Source, Aboutholocaust.org

 

 

"And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

 

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." - Daniel 9:26-27.

 

The word "Shoah" is also associated with "genocide":

 

"In Jewish communities, “Shoah” is often used to emphasize the unique Jewish experience and the importance of remembering and commemorating the genocide." - Source, Linquistic and cultural differences between Shoah and Holocaust

 

In Wikipedia, they seem to want to be covering their tracks for the Talmud, because this name minus the "ayin" is in there and it is associated with Jesus.

 

Since the Jewish religion, according to Paul in Galatians 1:13-14 is antichrist (Persecuted the church of God and wasted it), they have a vested interest in "blotting out his name" to the point that they "made a name unto themselves" when attempting to build the "tower" to heaven in Genesis 11.

 

"It’s important to note that the name “Yahuah” is a Hebrew name for God, and it’s generally considered inappropriate to use it as a curse word or in a derogatory manner. In Jewish tradition, God’s name is treated with reverence and respect, and it’s not used as a form of invective or abuse." - Sources, Wikipedia and kveller.com

 

They couldn't convince Christians en masse, to deny Jesus.  They couldn't successfully subvert the churches and rein in ALL the faithful; so they're next plan is to create their own "messiah" (Psalm 139:14-16, Daniel 9:25-27, Isaiah 44:13-17, Jeremiah 7:30, Matthew 23:15).

 

And when he is made, they will make him two-fold more the child of hell than themselves.

 

And one way to "blot out his name" is to make you forget it, or supplant it with their "curse".

 

If this were not important, they would leave the name of Jesus alone.  They don't want you to know the power of his Name, and the Name above all names that God gave him.

 

There is a passage in the book of Romans, where Paul talks about where Christ was named.  Paul knew his purpose and refused to build upon another man's foundation.  Look at this in relation to the name of Christ:

 

"Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.  Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:

 

But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand." - Romans 15: 19-21.

 

This naming the name of Christ is mentioned in the letter of Timothy:

 

"Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity." - 2 Timothy 2:18-19.

 

Those that “nameth the name of Christ” are God’s children.

 

Not them who are antichrist.

 

Them in the media who are calling the State of Israel “our friend and ally” are throwing you under the buss . . . “for filthy lucre’s sake”.

 

If they were the true God’s Israel, you would see evidence of that in their works and their words, and they have no love in them, and as Jesus said My Word is not in you”.

 

They conspire to subvert YOUR house (the church, the body of Christ) with fables and twisted truth.  Do not be swayed.  Do not be deceived.

 

And if you say this, or reprove/expose their works, they will call you names, seek to silence you and even bring you to death.  Stand firm, because the adversary is in their veins:

 

"And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.  And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious." - Ezekiel 2:6-7.
